The Amherst Middle School Library has dual objectives. The Library supports and enriches the classroom curriculum. The Library also reaches out to individual students and assists them with finding information on topics that interest them. The curriculum support and enrichment begins with planning with classroom teachers or teaching teams. A learning experience is designed using library and computer resources. Student work is not limited to research papers. Students often prepare displays or Power Point presentations to share information with their classmates. Every day classes utilize the Library's resources to make learning more interesting and more memorable.
