Here's what is happening in the 2010-2011 school year...

August

17 and 18 from 9:30am to 1pm we will be putting the back to school packets together in the school library. 

18 Western Region PTA Leadership Conference at 6:30pm at Union East Elementary

September

7 is supply drop off day from 2-3pm.

8 is the first day of school.

15 is open house for Grades 3-5 at 6:30pm

16 is open house for Grades K - 2 at 6:30pm

20 is the first PTA General meeting at 7pm (Budget approval)

30 is the Ice Cream Social 5:30 - 7:30 with the 5th Grade Basket Raffle being held that night.

 (Night Out Books will be distributed in September)

October

1 = early dismissal

6  Chuck E Cheese night 3-9pm

11 = no school

14 is Grade 4-5 Movie Night at 6:30pm

18 is PTA Meeting at 7pm

21 is PreK and K Story Hour at 6:30pm

 (Holiday Catalog sales begin in October)

November

2,11,25, and 26 = no school

15 is a PTA Meeting at 7pm

18 is Grade 1-2 Story Hour at 6:30pm

30 Holiday Catalog item pickup!

December

3 = ½ day

6 = no school

13 is a PTA Executive Meeting at 7pm

14 is the 5th Grade Concert at 7pm

16 is Grade K - 2 Story Hour at 6:30pm

23 - 31 = no school for winter break

January

10 is PTA Executive Meeting at 7pm

15 is Pancake Breakfast from 9-11:30am  (potential auction of birdhouses or other teacher created craft)

17 = no school

20 is Grade 2-3 Movie Night at 6:30pm

February

10 is International Dinner at 5pm

21-25 = no school

 (Spirit Wear sale and Brown Cow fundraising)

March

3  is Grade K – 1 Movie Night at 6:30pm

15 is PreK - K Story Hour at 6:30pm

18 = no school

21 is PTA meeting

21 - 25 is Book Fair

25 = ½ day for PT conferences

25 is Family Night at the Book Fair

28 = no school

April

6 Chuck E Cheese night 3-9pm

11 is PTA General Meeting at 7pm (elections)

13 is Kindergarten Orientation at 7pm

18 - 22 = no school

28 is Grade 1-2 Story Hour at 6:30pm

 (Flower Power Fundraiser done by mid month)

4-6 is Grade 3-5 ELA Testing

9 is PTA Awards Dinner at My Tomato Pie at 6:30pm

11-13 is Grade 3-5 Math Testing

20 is Staff Appreciation

23 is PTA Executive Meeting at 7pm

25 - 26 is Kindergarten Screening

30 = no school

June

3  is Bike Rodeo

10 is rain date for Bike Rodeo

13 is PTA Executive Meeting at 7pm

14 is flag day

22 is ½ day final day of school

22 is 5th Grade Moving Up Day 9am
