Golf Tournament Thank you to the 124 people who attended our Annual Golf Tournament. It was a huge success and we hope you had fun! Please consider us again in August 2011 at the Westwood Country Club! 7th Annual Amherst Tigers Youth Clinic Our 7th Annual Skills Clinic was a huge success for the 53 players who participated! Photos from the clinic are in the link to the left. Off-Season Ice Program The Amherst Tigers Off-Season Ice Program is available to any player in grades 7-11. Please click on the link to the left to view the schedule. CHAMPIONS: AMHERST DEFEATS SWEET HOME 3-2 FOR FEDERATION CHAMPIONSHIP!! Amherst defeated Sweet Home on Sunday at HSBC Arena 3-2 to earn their first ever Section VI Championship in Ice Hockey. Amherst played Plattsburgh High School in Plattsburgh, NY on March 6th in the New York State Regional Game and lost 2-1. Plattsburgh (22-1) scored with 2:15 remaining in the game to break the tie. Amherst finished the season with a record of 12-10-2 the best record in Amherst Federation Ice Hockey History! Congratulations to the team and coaching staff on a great season and we are now the 2009-10 SECTION 6 CHAMPIONS!! The Tigers have passed program history with most wins in a single season: In 2001-02, the Tigers had a record of 9-17. This year, the team finished with a record of 12-10-2. Great job Tigers! Section 6 Champions!! Amherst Goaltender Congratulations to our Senior Goalie Sean Smith for being selected to participate in the 2010 Bowman Cup at HSBC Arena on March 29th. It is an excellent honor and accomplishment for Sean as he is considered one of the top three senior goalies in Niagara and Buffalo County. Sean played in the second period of the game and allowed 0 goals. His Buffalo team defeated Rochester 4-2.

Schenectady Tournament Champions! The Tigers traveled to Schenectady, NY on an overnight trip on December 28-29 to earn the first place trophy. Amherst defeated Schenectady 5-0 and defeated Burnt Hills 6-1! KIDS DAY WITH THE TIGERS Thank you to all of our fans who attended the Annual Kids Day Game!
