Windermere is adjacent to the city of Buffalo and services students in grades PreK-5.  Over 30 different languages are represented in this school community.  We are proud of the rich cultures that are represented here at Windermere and invite you to visit us at anytime.

Windermere is comprised of two "houses".  The Early Childhood House for grades PreK-2 and the Intermediate House for grades 3-5.  Each house has its own Principal.  Ms. Mary Lavin is the Principal of the Primary House and  Mrs. Julie Flanagan is the Principal of the Intermediate House.

IMPORTANTSchool begins at 8:45a.m. and ends at 2:45p.m.  Students should not arrive at school before 8:30.  Prior to that time, there are no adults who can provide supervision.

If your child will not be in school, please call the Parent Alert number at 362-4249 and leave a message as to the date of absence and why the child will not be in school.

UPDATED TRANSPORTATION PROCEDURE
The School Board has recently approved a change in the transportation procedure. Effective immediately, parents will be allowed TWO drop-off locations for their child (instead of one). The attached form explains the policy in detail and must be completed by the parents in order for an alternate drop-off location to occur. Com [+]
