    Healthcare Administration Scholarships for those going into the Health Field:  Healthcare Scholarships for those going into the health care majors.

    NAWIC Scholarships for Women: The NAWIC Founder's Scholarship assists in providing the construction industry with trained employees through higher education. Award amounts range from $500 to $2500. See site for the details and application. February 28th deadline each year.

    NAWIC Scholarships for Women in Construction: The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of NAWIC will be awarding several individual scholarships this year, with a minimum award of $1,500. See the website for the qualifications to apply.

    The Western Chapter of the New York Water Environment Association, Inc.:  The Western Chapter of the NY Water Environment is sponsoring a college scholarship program for high school seniors who will enroll in an environmentally related curriculum. The rewards are $1000-$1500. If you would like more information, see Mrs. Carapetyan in student services.

    Amherst Masonic Lodge 981 Academic Award for College: Write a minimum 250-word essay about a Freemason of your choosing. This could be recognized in your field of study, too. If you have any questions, see your counselor or Mrs. Carapetyan in student services.

    Sloane Stephens Doc & Glo Scholarship: Sloane Stephens has always been committed to giving back and supporting her community. This scholarship is part of her giving back! See site for details.

    The Engineering Society of Buffalo, Inc.: The Engineering Society of Buffalo, Inc. is pleased to announce we are now accepting applications for this year's scholarships. See website for application. Many other scholarships are available there. The deadline is June 1, 2024.

    Hagan Scholarship Foundation: If you are attending college, this scholarship may be for you. See website for details on eligibility. The scholarship provides up to 7,000 for each semester. Deadline is Dec. 1st, 2024.

    Student View Scholarship Program: The Student-View Scholarship is a unique opportunity for high school seniors. It is open to all students, regardless of academic achievement or financial need.

    BigFuture Scholarships: Students in the class of 2024 who use BigFuture Scholarship Search and save three scholarships on their list will earn entries in monthly drawings for $500 and $40,000. You can search for more than 14,000 scholarships on BigFuture, based on your background, academic achievements, interests and future plans.

    NYSIR New York Schools Scholarship: The Board of Trustees of New York Schools Insurance Foundation are pleased to announce that they are offering several great scholarships for students in New York State. The Cristin Ann Bambino, Paul Jensen and Joseph Goncalves, which total close to $20,000 in awards. See the website for details on the application process.

    MENSA WNY Scholarship: Each year, through the Mensa Foundation, WNY holds a scholarship essay contest. Students who are enrolled in a degree program at an accredited institution of higher education during the academic year are eligible to win an award of $500. See all the details on this site.

    Excelsior Scholarship Program:  More than 940,000 middle-class families across New York State will be eligible for the Excelsior Scholarship. In order to apply, students must:

    • Be residents of New York State
    • Plan to attend a SUNY or CUNY two - or- four year degree program
    • Take 30 credits per year and make progress towards graduation.
    • Maintain good academic standing
    • Be on track to graduate on time with an Associate's Degree in two years or a Bachelor's Degree in four years.
    • The program goes into effect immediately and is available for students whose families earn up to $100,000 annually.

    Private Scholarships are monies granted to students by pondering organizations, companies, or clubs, which do not need to be repaid. Generally, scholarships are reserved for students with special qualifications, such as academic, athletic or artistic talent. Awards are also available for students who are interested in particular fields of study, who are members of underrepresented groups, who live in certain areas of the country or who demonstrate financial need.
