    Students will apply understanding of theory, cooking techniques, nutritional needs, and food presentation.  Students will learn how to prepare a variety of foods including breads, soup, sauces, pasta, and desserts.  The nutritional value of food and menu planning will be covered in conjunction with the recipes.
