Satisfies graduation requirement in Practical Arts

This course will provide students the opportunity to further develop their woodworking skills learned in Intro to Woodworking.  This advanced study in woodworking will prepare students for a career in furniture making.  Topics covered will be machine safety, machine maintenance, machine setup, jig and fixture creation, and advanced joinery techniques.  In this course students will research, design, and build a piece of furniture.
