Prerequisite:  Pass Latin 1 with a 75% or above

Satisfies Regents Diploma and Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation requirements

NCAA Approved

Students will be able to understand, respond to, and produce questions and commands.  Students will be able to read passages from Latin to English both by reading and writing.  Students will be able to read Latin passages aloud and recognize the grammatical complexities of the Latin language and continue to demonstrate knowledge of Latin roots of English words.  Students will recognize Roman and Greek mythology, culture, history and its influence on the world.
