Satisfies graduation requirements in Health
This course is a semester course which meets everyday. This course is available for Juniors and Seniors who have not yet fulfilled the Health requirement. The course stresses active participation, decision-making, stress management, goal setting, behavior modification, and the development of positive interpersonal relationships. Topics include human sexuality, substance abuse, personal fitness, goal setting, and nutrition. The book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey is used regularly throughout the semester.
