    Students will apply science process skills including communications, classifying, inferring, measuring, predicting, recognizing spatial relationships, defining, experimenting, interpreting, forming hypotheses, and modeling in this course.  Laboratory activities are frequently used in the study of topography, mineralogy, plate tectonics, weathering, seismology, meteorology, and astronomy.   This course is designed to provide assistance to students for whom passing a Regents level science course is considered problematic.  Students will participate in three laboratory periods per cycle in addition to daily classes.  This course ends with the NYS Regents exam
