Rules

The rules for the Library and Computer Center are interchangeable and students are expected to adhere to the rules when in both areas. Failure to adhere could result in the loss of privileges to use either or both the Library and Computer Centers.

General Rules

Respect the Library and Computer Center's materials.

Respect the students and staff.

Be productive.

No food, drink, or candy...including suckers.

When you come in you must have work to do -- studying, reading, homework, etc.

Once you are in the Library and Computer Center you must stay there for the entire period -- this includes students with Junior/Senior privileges.

If you wish to leave during a period, you must have a pass -- this includes students with Junior/Senior privileges.

Consequences:

1st offense -- students who have been asked to leave will not be welcome for 15 school days.*

2nd offense -- students who have been asked to leave will not be welcome for 30 school days.*

3rd offense -- students who have been asked to leave will not be welcome for the remainder of the school year.*

* -- Students may then only use the Library or Computer Center after obtaining a green pass from a subject area teacher for a specific assignment.

Computer Center Rules

Browsing should be academic in nature.

Please use headphones when watching something that requires sound.

No game sites.

Do not change the settings on the computer.

No storing on/saving to the hard drive -- upon shutdown, the computers have been set to erase anything that was saved to the hard drive.

No food or drink.

No obscene, violent, or graphic websites.

Please Work Quietly.
