Amherst Central School District will hold a substitute recruitment job fair on Aug. 13, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to hire instructional, teaching assistant, aides, food service and nurse substitutes. Substitutes are needed for the high school, middle school, and two elementary schools. The job fair will be held at Windermere Boulevard Elementary School.
All candidates must apply online through the WNY School Application System (WNYRIC) prior to Aug. 9. Candidates will be emailed an appointment time. During the job fair, interviews will be held and paperwork will be processed for qualified candidates.
Substitute teacher (per diem, new hire)
- Days 1-20 (consecutive or non-consecutive) and all uncertified, $100/day
- 21 days or more (certified only) and retired Amherst teachers, $110/day
- Long term substitute teacher, $120/day
Amherst Central School District utilizes the WNY School Application System (WNYRIC) for certified teaching and administrative positions and classified non-teaching positions.
