  • Did you know? Through the use of Google Expeditions/Virtual Reality, students are traveling around the world without ever having to leave the classroom! One example is fourth-graders researching volcanoes. Students were on a chromebook using databases and finding information about how volcanoes were formed, their history of eruptions and their impact on the earth for their research projects. Students were then able to visit their volcano up close through virtual reality goggles.  It was as if our students had transformed into world class geologists - standing on edge of an active volcano ready to apply all that they learned through their research!
