The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Mission

According to National PTA guidelines, the primary objective of the PTA is to promote the well being of children and youth in the home, school, community and place of worship, and to cooperate with the school in pursuit of its educational mission. Towards that end, the Windermere PTA serves a bridging function, connecting staff, faculty, parents/guardians, children and community organizations across grade levels, across the many neighborhoods and across purposes.

At Windermere Boulevard School (WBS), the PTA is comprised of an all-volunteer general membership, an Executive Board and Executive Committee whose members are elected in April. Membership is open to the Windermere community including parents/guardians , faculty, staff, administrators and other interested parties.
