    Paul Steimle and his wife Amy are both long-time residents of the Town of Amherst and have lived in Snyder since 1998.  They have five children all having attended Amherst Schools with the youngest currently attending Amherst High School.  
     
    Mr. Steimle has been President of MJI Consulting Group LLC, a real estate consulting firm, he started in 2004.  Prior to this, Mr. Steimle worked for the international accounting firm KPMG LLP where he was a Senior Manager in their State and Local Tax Consulting Group.  Mr. Steimle holds a B.S. degree in Finance and an MBA both from the University of Buffalo.  Mr. Steimle is also a 2007 graduate of the University of Buffalo’s Center For Entrepreneurial Leadership program. In addition he completed the “Not For Profit Management Development Program” through the Harvard Business School Club of Buffalo in 2016.
     
    Mr. Steimle is currently serving his third term as a Board of Education member where is he is involved in the Audit and Capital Committees.

    Jeanne Ernst received dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Quantitative Analysis and Administrative Science from Colby College in Maine. She worked 20 years in various positions analyzing, recommending, and trading equities for mutual funds and investment banking companies prior to choosing to stay home with her children.
     
    Ms. Ernst and her husband, Scott, moved to Amherst 10 years ago, and truly appreciate all that Amherst has to offer. Both their children attend Amherst Middle School and are involved in Fencing, Irish Dance, Golf, Swimming, Skiing, Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts.
     
    An active and engaged Amherst parent, Ms. Ernst is currently the Immediate Past President and Advisor to the Women's Board at Park Country Club in Williamsville, NY as well as Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Ardán-Rochez Academy of Irish Dance and a member of the Buffalo Feis Committee. She has held several positions in the Windermere PTA including President. She was a parent member of the Committee on Special Education and Preschool Special Education, is still very involved in the classrooms and can often be found volunteering at the school. She sat on the board of the Family Justice Center of Erie County, which provides one-stop, free, wrap-around services for victims of domestic violence. She is also a Neighborhood Drive Volunteer for the following organizations: American Heart Association, Autism Speaks, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, March of Dimes, and the Diabetes Association.

    Lynn Errington is a native of the Buffalo area but moved away to pursue education and career opportunities. She has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University and worked as a Technical Sales Engineer for nearly 15 years throughout the Great Lakes region. She always hoped to move back to the area and was able to do so in 2002, settling in Amherst.

    Her husband, Jeff, is also a native of WNY and is a University at Buffalo Professor and Associate Dean in the School of Engineering. The couple has two children; one at Windermere Boulevard Elementary and the eldest at Amherst Middle School.

    She is a self-employed decorative painting contractor. This career change has afforded an opportunity to devote more time to raising her family and volunteer work.

    An active and involved parent who has spent much time volunteering in classrooms, school and PTA sponsored events, she has been the Parent Volunteer Coordinator for the Windermere Musical Theater Program and will be taking on the role of Scholastic Book Fair Chair. Her children are involved in various local sports and arts activities where she volunteers with a local theater organization ACTS and the Amherst Skating Club.

    She believes a successful school district, such as Amherst, serves its community well by maintaining strong education standards as well as teaching our children to respect their community. Her children have benefited from educators who care deeply about them and encourage them to care about others.

    She looks forward to the opportunity to be more involved and engaged in the Amherst school community.

    Lorry Goldhawk is a Human Resources & Management consultant with Valutis Consulting, and has been working with business owners and HR departments in this capacity for over 10 years. Prior to consulting, Lorry worked in Human Resources at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and as Director of Recruiting for a local financial services company.

    A native of Western New York, and an Amherst resident since 2003, Mrs. Goldhawk received two Bachelor’s degrees (BS Management/HR/Marketing and BA Psychology) from the University at Buffalo. She also holds two human resources certifications.

    Mrs. Goldhawk is married to Matthew, with two children; daughter Riley attends Amherst High School, and son Declan attends Amherst Middle School.  Both children attended Windermere Boulevard Elementary.  She has been a member of the Windermere Leadership Team, has served in leadership positions on the Windermere PTA, and remains a volunteer for various events and activities.  She was elected to the Board of Education in 2014, is a member of the Board of Education’s Transportation and Alternative Funding Committees, and serves as delegate to the Erie County Association of School Boards.

    Jessica McLaughlin and her husband, Shawn, a graduate of Amherst Central High School, have resided in Amherst since 2003. They have three children attending Smallwood Drive Elementary School.
     
    Mrs. McLaughlin served five years on the board for Amherst Nursery School; three as the chairperson. She has held volunteer leadership positions with the Smallwood Drive PTA as the VP of membership, programs, and president.  Mrs. McLaughlin serves on the Transportation Committee and the regional Every Student Succeeds Act State Plan Development Team. She is a member of the district-wide Professional Development Team.  She served on the ACSD Strategic Planning Committee and represents Smallwood Drive Elementary School on the Implementation Committee for 2017-2018.
     
    Prior to devoting her time to raising her children, Mrs. McLaughlin was a sales manager for the Hyatt Regency Hotel. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Sage University and currently works as a marketing specialist at Sgroi Financial and a teacher’s aide at Amherst Nursery School.

    Mark Smith, a graduate of Amherst Central High School, and his wife, Kelly, have resided in Amherst for 19 years.  His two oldest children are ACHS graduates. His other children attend Amherst Central high School as a junior and sophomore and Amherst Middle School as a sixth- grader. He is also a grandfather of three (a fourth is due in June) who will become ACSD students.
     
    A graduate of Canisius College with a degree in accounting, he is a principal at LabMDis. His company works with hospital Electronic Health Record systems to identify “at-risk” patients for certain diseases. His career path took him beyond New York state for 18 years. He has worked as a FBI special agent and has had a comprehensive Human Resources career with Pfizer, Pepsi and Blockbuster. He calls Amherst a great place to raise a family and returned to the area because of its fantastic programming and culture.
     
    He is involved with several not-for-profit boards that support youth, adults and families. He is a board member for Deaf Access Services and Board president for the Amherst Tigers Sharks Swim team.

    Dominic Vivolo and his wife Tina, have resided in Amherst since 2004. They have three children, Gabriella, Dominic, and Isabella that attend Smallwood Drive School and Amherst Middle School. 
     
    Mr. Vivolo graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a financial advisor and Vice-President of Ameriprise Financial Services.  
     
    Currently, Mr. Vivolo is a Volunteer Fireman and EMT for the Snyder Fire Department. Formerly, Mr. Vivolo served as Chairman of the Amherst Youth Board, Vice-President of Operations at the Amherst Senior Foundation, and Treasurer and board member for Amherst Nursery School.  He is currently an active participant on the Transportation, Capital and Advocacy Committees for Amherst Schools.
