Creative Crafts

    Satisfies graduation requirement in Fine Arts


    Creative Crafts will expose the student to a wide variety of materials, techniques and projects utilizing various cultural and design applications.  Students will have the opportunity to create in areas such as jewelry, textiles, stain glass, wood, batik and tie dying, metal, enameling, and plaster.  Some projects will focus on creating with recycled materials and found objects such as small items of furniture, books, tin cans, and glass and plastic jars into useful and attractive pieces of art.  Skill and knowledge gained in this course can lead to lifelong hobbies, gift making, or even crafts for profit.
