Ceramics II is an advanced ceramics course that focuses on creating pottery through use of the pottery wheel.  Students will build upon skills learned in Ceramics I, learn fundamental wheel-working skills used for shaping clay, and learn about the historical significance of the pottery wheel.  Students will produce a collection of functional works thrown on the pottery wheel such as, but not limited to, bowls, mugs, and plates.  This class will take place in ACHS’s newly renovated Ceramics Studio giving students the opportunity to be the first to take advantage of these new facilities.
