COLLEGE WEB DESIGN

1/2 Unit, Honors Weighted

Prerequisite:  None

3 SUNY Credit Hours Optional through ECC’s Advanced Studies Program

(Students must have Junior/Senior status to enroll for college credit.)

Satisfies graduation requirement in Practical Arts or Computer, but not both

Students will learn and apply HTML, Adobe Dreamweaver, Gimp photo editing, and basic Java Script to create functional websites.  Additionally, by the end of the course the students will better understand web terminology and definitions, utilize web facts, tips, and tricks, compare and contrast the effectiveness of websites, providers, and servers.
