  • Erie County, NY Summer Youth Program: The Erie County Dept. of Social Services annually coordinates a summer program that encourages the participation of children in foster care or juvenile justice systems, homeless and runaway youth with covid 19 guidelines. If oyu are interested in employment you must be 14-20 yrs. of age and work 20 hours a week. See website for details.

    Boston University Summer Journalism Academy: Boston University presents a virtual classroom experience for high school students interested in journalism, writing or photography. Deadline for completed applications is June 1, 2021.

    Univ. of Michigan: The Joy of Coding: The Joy of Coding is an online course specially created for anyone who wants to experience first-hand the power and thrill of coding computers to do amazing things. Created with high school students in mind, it is a great way for anyone to step into the wondrous world of coding. No prior coding experience is required. The course will run from July 5, 2021 - August 13, 2021.

    LeMoyne College Summer Scholar Program: The LeMoyne College summer Scholar Program offers current high school students completing their sophmore or junior year the opportunity to take up to two college courses prior to graduation.
