Athletics (Intramurals)
Open to all grade levels. Information about intramurals will be announced to students during physical education classes. Building Wind Turbines & Junior Solar Sprint Cars
Open to all grades. Students learn about these two renewable resources while building wind turbines and solar powered cars. Both events have competitions in May, so we will start in the second semester. Listen to T.V. announcements for further information. Mr. Karas, Room 114
Digital Video Production Club
Create larger scale DVD productions for school assemblies and events like the annual Musical and Moving Up Day ceremony. Meets throughout the school year. Mr. Schmidle, Library Media Center

Musical Try-outs and Practices

Science Olympiad

Service Club
Organizing food drives, raising money for charities, volunteering at various agencies, tutoring fellow students. Mrs. Primerano, Counseling Center
Student Council / Class Officers
Students who participate in either Student Council or as a Class Officer are elected to these positions by their peers. Elections typically take place for students in Grades 7 and 8 during the conclusion of the school year. Grade 6 officers are elected prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. These students participate in all areas of service to their school and assist in fundraising for the class they represent. Produce and broadcast live morning TV shows to our school audience and later viewable online at AmherstTechTV.org. Must arrive at 8:15 am the same morning each week. Ventures
