Local Live Streams Games
This fall, sporting events on the Amherst Central High School Dimp Wagner Alumni field will be streamed so the community can view the action from any internet connection – on laptops, tablets and smart phones.
Amherst Central School District has partnered with LocalLive to stream the excitement of football, field hockey, soccer, and lacrosse events that occur in the high school’s athletic complex. Each game will be recorded for the archives and may be available for replay through on-demand. There is an integrated scoreboard view included for viewers.
Permanent high definition cameras that move to follow the action on the field and have 30X zoom capabilities have been installed at the field through LocalLive. Equipment is monitored and maintained by LocalLive. LocalLive has remote game producers that follow the action with gaming controllers. The camera operators are trained and supervised by seasoned professionals.
Not only does this bring the action of our athletic events to the community; it allows our coaches to use video clips as learning opportunities for our athletes as well as allowing our athletes interested in playing at the collegiate level to develop a reel film to submit to college coaches.
LocalLive mobile app is available in the Apple store; the Android version will be released in the fall of 2019. The app allows you to watch all available home games. Plus, you get automatic game highlights and you can easily create personalized and custom highlights by game, sport or season.
Amherst is the only public school district in WNY to offer LocalLive streaming of athletic events for Tiger fans! Want to cheer from the sidelines? Check out the sports schedule on the Athletics homepage for all the games and come support our athletes.
