Welcome to Central Registration
To better serve families and to streamline the entry of new students into our District, registration of new students in the District will be processed by the Central Registrar's Office. Families new to the District should register their child/children as soon as possible to ease transition and allow adequate time for educational services to be arranged (schedule, classroom placement and transportation).
Amherst Central School District has a Central Registration process for:
- New and re-entry students
- Universal Pre-K students
- Kindergarten students
- Private, Parochial, Charter school students
The process of registering a child for Amherst Central School District begins online and ends with a meeting with the Central Registrar to which you will bring all required documents and forms. Registration is complete when the online registration has been completed, submitted, and the required documentation has been verified at an in-person meeting with the Central Registrar. If desired, building tours can be scheduled by calling the school office.
For whatever reason, if you are unable to register online, please contact the Central Registrar.
