Central Registration
Welcome to Central Registration
Amherst Central School District uses a Central Registration office to register new and re-entry students, Universal Pre-K students, kindergarten students and private-parochial-charter school students. Families new to the District should register their child/children as soon as possible to ease transition and allow adequate time for educational services to be arranged (schedule, classroom placement and transportation).
The process of registering a child for Amherst Central School District begins online and ends with a meeting with the Central Registrar to which you will bring all required documents and forms. Registration is complete when the online registration has been completed, submitted, and the required documentation has been verified at an in-person meeting with the Central Registrar. For whatever reason, if you are unable to register online, please contact the Central Registrar.
Residency Requirements for Enrollment: You must live within the school boundaries, provide proof of residency and student age to attend Amherst CSD schools. If you are unsure whether your residence falls within the district boundaries, please use the Streets Guide on this page to verify that you live in the district.
District Description: We have one high school, one middle school and two elementary schools.
Interpreter: If you are in need of an interpreter to complete registration, please contact the Central Registrar. These webpages can be translated using the TRANSLATE button on the upper left of the webpage.
