Student Council and Service Club dropped off all of the non-perishable items that had been collected during the month of September to the Tiger's Den Food Pantry. They collected two cars full of food and thanks to everyone's gracious donations at Open House, Powder Puff and Fall Fest, they were also able to donate $700 in Top's gift cards as well! This food drive was sponsored by the Buffalo Bills Foundation through their annual Huddle for Hunger Campaign.

Student Council and the Service Club were invited to the Bills Stadium for a parking lot party to celebrate the end of the Huddle for Hunger food drive. Fourteen other school districts participated in the Huddle for Hunger this year, which collected non-perishable items for FeedMore WNY. The high school was lucky enough to be able to donate all of the goods to the Tiger's Den. While ACHS did not win the competition, students still had a great time and were planning on what could be done next year to get more community engagement. At the festival students were able to meet and get the autographs of many of the Bill's rookies including Dane Jackson, Ja'Marcus Ingram, Deone Walker, Dorian Strong and Landon Jackson among others. Also Billy the Buffalo might have a new best friend, our Amherst Tiger.
