Register for Kindergarten

All families who live within the Amherst Central School District boundaries with a child who turns five on or before Dec. 1, 2026 are eligible to register their child for kindergarten at Smallwood Drive or Windermere Boulevard Elementary Schools.
Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is done online at the Central Registration webpage at www.amherstschools.org. If you need assistance, please call the Amherst CSD Central Registrar at 716-362-3030.
Details for kindergarten screening and orientation have not been finalized. Families will be contacted with information.
