Nine Student Musicians Accompany Renowed Brasshouse Band, Too Many Zooz
It all began on Thursday, April 3 when 86 students from the ACHS Bands and Music Theory classes took a field trip to Springville-Griffith Institute High School for a preview concert and educational clinics led by the internationally renowned brasshouse band, Too Many Zooz. The energy in the room was electric, and it was an incredible opportunity for our students to experience professional musicians up close and get inspired by their sound, style, and stage presence.
But the excitement didn’t stop there.
As part of the Invitational Jazz Band experience, nine of our own students were selected by teacher nomination to participate in a special performance. These students joined Too Many Zooz on stage to perform two tunes at the conclusion of the concert on Saturday, April 5.
