ACHS photography club students took four awards in the Charles E. Burchfield Art and Nature Center's annual photo exhibit contest. Each received monetary prizes. Sean Murphy earned a first place in the Loud Situations category and a third place in Favorite WNY Destinations. Emma Beiter was awarded third place in the Digitally Altered Photo category. Lillian Sykes won a third place award in the Close Up Macro category. Lillian also was a winner in last year's contest. The 11 other students exhibiting are Bianca Balesteri, Olivia Cinquino, Deborah Custodio, Robin Flowers-Quinniey, Krysta Frankowski, Julia Georgakis, Ian Guercio, Madison Jorgensen, Lilianne Mahoney, Emily Starkweather, and Amaya Walker.
ACHS photography students have been entering consistently exceptional work and winning awards in this contest, open to adults and professionals, since the early 2000s!
