Amherst Central High School Tenor Performs at Chautauqua Institution
John Calandra, a tenor with the Amherst Central High School choir, performed at the Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater as part of the New York State Summer School of the Arts - School for Choral and Vocal Studies. NYSSSA, run by NYSED, is a four-week, intensive pre-collegiate summer school for a variety of arts endeavors held throughout the state. The School for Choral and Vocal Studies is held at SUNY Fredonia throughout the month of July. Calandra will enter his junior year in the fall at ACHS.
