Zooming with First Responders
Over 70 of Mrs. Evans' Career & Financial Management students were treated to a special panel of guest speakers over Zoom on Dec. 22.
First responder guest speakers discussed volunteering and careers as a firefighter, police officer, EMT, and a Paramedic. Students at least 16 years old can even get started now by volunteering in Snyder's Junior firefighter program. Great opportunities to volunteer and help others in the community, obtain lifelong skills and training, and/or use these experiences as the first step toward a career as a first responder. Some on our panel today are also Amherst grads! Read their bios. This special day was facilitated by Brent and Trish Hudson of the Snyder Volunteer Fire department.
