Senor Soloists at Annual Orchestra Concerto Concert
The Amherst Central High School Symphony Orchestra presented its annual Concerto Concert on March 23. Each year, a group of selected seniors performs a piece of music with the Symphony Orchestra accompanying them.
The concert featured Mackenzie Rose-Lapier performing J.C. Bach's Concerto in C Minor, Ava Moore performing Mozart's Concerto in D Major, Jackson Kelly performing Rachmaninoff's Vocalise, Natalie Riedy performing "Nocturne" from the Masquerade Suite by Khatchaturian, and Stuart Wilson performing Praeludium and Allegro by Kreisler. All soloists performed to high praise, and the symphony Orchestra played beautifully in accompaniment.
