For the first time since 2019, the high school's Student Council-sponsored Fall Fest is back. On Friday, Sept. 30, a variety of food vendors and fun events will take place on the front lawn of Amherst Central High School from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Then head over to Dimp Wagner '48 Alumni Field at 7 p.m. to watch the Homecoming football game as Amherst Tigers take on Grand Island. 

Fall Fest is a family-friendly event! There will be concessions, bounce house, dunk tank, snacks, carnival games and prizes, face painting, balloon animals, music, Amherst gear and apparel for sale.

The Snyder Fire Company and Amherst Police will be there with firetrucks and police cars for the kids.
