Teamwork, brainstorming and creative options helped students "break out" of their classrooms. Third-graders and fifth-graders at Windermere Boulevard Elementary worked with Lindsey Mack, enrichment specialist, in an awesome escape room activity using BreakoutEDU boxes. Students worked to “break out” of their surroundings in 45 minutes by solving puzzles using black lights, invisible ink, codes and hidden clues which led them to secret lock combinations. Small groups used these special combinations to finally open their group’s locked box and escape. Students were completely engaged using their critical thinking skills in this unique team building experience!
