Fifth-Graders Create Products to Solve Problems in Invention Convention
Fifth-graders unveiled their ideas for a specialty product that solved a common everyday problem during the Invention Convention. Students were given the task of identifying a problem and coming up with a product that solved the problem. They developed a conceptual plan and outlined the plan on poster boards to describe the product, materials needed, how it worked and an illustration or prototype model.
