Flea Market Teaches Principles of Economics in a Fun Way

students in cafeteriaAt WBS, second-graders wrapped up their Economics unit with a Flea Fest. Throughout the unit, students explored the difference between goods and services in our community, how money is used and the role of a producer and consumer. The Flea Fest was an opportunity for students to create a good or service and sell it for their peers to purchase. The Flea Fest is an engaging event that allows students to showcase their creativity all while applying their knowledge of economics.
