The Girls on the Run team from Windermere Boulevard participated in a Community Impact Project. As a team, they came up with a project idea to help their community. Working together on a project provides an opportunity for the girls to use the skills they have developed and enhanced over the course of the program. The project also provides an opportunity for the girls to apply effort toward a goal.
This season, the girls decided to collect clothing to donate to Harvest House of Buffalo, a non-profit organization located on Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo that is assisting families affected by the supermarket shooting.
