Athletes Playing at Collegiate Level are Honored

Athletes who will continue playing sports at the collegiate level were honored at the second annual Senior Athletic Recognition breakfast at Amherst Central High School.

"You have done a wonderful job representing yourselves and our Amherst community," Dr. Kiel Illg, athletic director, told the athletes and their families. "We are very proud of you and will be looking to see what great things you will accomplish." He thanked the parents for supporting the student-athletes throughout their athletic careers.

Not pictured are Mia Ciccarella who will play softball for SUNY Geneseo and Calik Kennedy who will join the SUNY Brockport wrestling team.
