Girls Swim are ECIC Division II Champions
The varsity Girls Swim & Dive team beat Williamsville South to go 8-0 in league competition. They are the ECIC Division II Champions.
At their meet on Oct. 7, the team hosted Nardin for the annual Pink the Pool meet. The meet doubles as both a competition and an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer. The Tigers put forth a strong performance and were rewarded with a 56-38 victory over the visitors.
While the funds are still being totaled, the girls were able to raise a good amount of money that will be donated to ECMC and the Pink Mobile that was parked outside the pool before the meet.
Leading the way for the Tigers as double winners were:
- Juliet Bewlay - 200 Freestyle & 500 Freestyle
- Sydney Crozier - 200 IM & 100 Butterfly
- Gia Guttuso - 100 Freestyle & 100 Backstroke
