PowerSchool Parent Portal
The Amherst Central School District uses the PowerSchool Portal so parents, teachers, students and administrators can work together and communicate more effectively and efficiently about attendance, schedule and grades.
District families will receive an email August 28, 2026 with information to access the PowerSchool portal. If you did not receive that email, please contact powerschool@amherstschools.org or call (716) 362-3003.

Opt-In to Receive Text Messages
Parents can receive text messages, straight to a mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts and more. A current cell phone number(s) must be on file in PowerSchool so you can participate in this free service. Just send a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587. You can also opt out of these messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.
